Recently, we lost one member of the greatest funk/soul production duo to ever grace the game, Fonce Mizell of the Mizell Brothers, who were the sound behind artists such as Bobbi Humphries, Donald Byrd, Johnny Hammond, and many more. The melodically electronic soulful sound that was signature for the Mizell Brothers was one that was trademark, and the impact it had on the sound of Hip Hop is immeasurable.
